Mr and Mrs Bennett!

Well, we did it!

We had a fab day. Really emotional. I was a lot more chilled out than I had expected by the time we got to the Registry Office. It helped that Paddy screamed his head off until he was taken out of the room, which distracted me a bit! As expected, I had a bit of a snivel and Mark was watery eyed! Lily was really well behaved. She got stage fright as the doors opened as she was due to go in first but didn't realised there would be so many people! Thanks to Ju and Helen for being great Matron's of Honours and to Sara and Mandy for being witnesses!

We had a fabulous reception - an Indian Wedding Feast (thanks Mum!). Everyone seemed to enjoy the afternoon and the food was amazing. We then piled back to our house where we all prodceeded to get very, very tipsy!

Everyone has been ridiculously generous with their wedding gifts! THANK YOU notes will be out to you all ASAP!

Slept well in our new bed (delivered that morning cos both of our air matresses had popped!) then we went to Prague (again, thanks Mum!) where we stayed in the most amazing hotel. There was champagne, strawberries and cream waiting for us in our room and the bed and bathroom were decorated with rose petals!! Lots of photos to follow when theyre downloaded!

Needless to say, we are knackered!! Mark is back at work today. I've got coursework to do tonight, to be handed in tomorrow. We're planning on a glass or two of wine and a DVD (assuming I get homework done) and an M&S Angus Beef and Portobello Mushroom Pie! Bliss!

Mum has just left and I'm already missing her :@(

Joan is still really poorly and stuck in Bourton-on-the-Water hospital...sending lots of positive vibes her way.

I've confirmed my weeks work experience as Stroud Maternity - YAY!!! Last week in November and I can't wait!
