Another beautiful, beautiful Winter's day here. We've had a good run of weather for the past few days...crisp air, blue skies, sunshine. Lovely.
We took the kids to the park to run off some energy then came home to Mark's lamb stew and dumplings. Was very nice. I've spent the past week dosed up to the eyeballs on painkillers because I had my gallbladder removed on Tuesday evening. I've been SO SORE but starting to feel a lot better now, although I've got some shocking bruising all over my torso. I'm hoping that the dressings can come off permanently tomorrow.
Anyway, I've got VERY behind on my coursework. I spent the evening making notes for a timed essay on Tuesday which I really don't want to miss because then I'd have to do it in exam week and, let's face it, I'll have plenty of other subjects to be revising for. So I'm aiming to make it back to college on Tuesday, even if I only go in for the exam and come home afterwards.
Paddy had been trying out his new potty this week. He seems to know what's it for and expects a huge round of applause when he does a wee!
