Lovely day.

Went out for a Chinese yesterday, which probably wasn't wise as I wasn't in the best of form, due to headache. Food was OK, nothing special. Was driving (as usual) so watched everyone else get merrily drunk (grrr!) but very very nearly got my hair off when Mark's ex father-in-law gave Lily a sip of peach schnapps!!!!!!! Luckily, she hated the taste and, when I realised what had happened, insisted that she spit it out, but I couldn't believe it! I managed to keep my rage in check until we dropped them off, then let Mark have it full throttle! RRAAAAAHHHHHHHH!! He obviously thought I was making a mountain out of a molehill but, this morning, in the cold (sober) light of day, agreed that it wasn't good. NOT A HAPPY BUNNY. She's been ill all last week, on med's every 12hrs, besides the fact that she's only FIVE YEARS OLD. OK, rant over.
For now...!!

Went out for kunch with my Mum and Hans today. Wasn't too keen to go due to bad head, but glad I did. Had a fab lunch: cheese, almonds, broad beans, anchovies and deep fried squid rings (last 2 didn't eat as I'm not keen on fish/seafood)...all for starters, followed by BBQ'd lamb and chicken breasts! Totally yummy! Had half a fresh pineapple for pudding...so good! We came home and Mark watched the rugby while Lily and I watched a DVD in bed (well, I sort of read/snoozed) so, all in all, a very chilled out afternoon.

Have been browsing the next and babies-r-us website...think I'll ask Ju to put an order in for me so I can collect it when/if I ever make it back to the UK (fingers crossed I get some good news re Lily's passport tomorrow).

Been getting some backache over the past week. I read somewhere that a birthing ball can help. I've got one of those exercise balls which I'm sure will be OK to use, just not sure exactly what I'm supposed to do with it lol! I know a lot of people say they sit on theirs while the watch TV, but are there exercises you can do with them? I've posted a message on my antenatal club's message boardand, hopefully, one of the girls there can shed some light for me.

Lily's back to school tomorrow, sniff! I miss her when I've had her at home with me. It's M's birthday this week so need to get him a pressie (no idea what to get). Also, at some point tomorrow I need to track down a tambourine for Lily to take to her dancing lesson tomorrow evening. They are busy rehearsing for their Xmas show, at the town hall. It's on the 23rd Dec and I CAN'T WAIT!! My baby up there strutting her stuff on stage! I'll probably bawl my eyes out, but at least I'll have hormones as an excuse lol!! So, pregnany does have it's advantages then lol!!
