21 weeks today.

I've been waiting for Lily's passport to get back from the British Consulate for about 6 weeks, which is annoying. We went to the Consulate in Alicante to chase it up. They advised we had to contact Madrid on the hotline (€1.30 per min!) which we did. They advised they had no record of it (aargh!). We ended up getting the woman who arranged it for us on the case (bless her, she was in the UK). Anyway, the upshot of it is, the Embassy in Madrid advised that the passport has been processed but are unable to tell if it's been posted out yet. We'll find out on Monday. It could be a problem with my local post office because we're still waiting for parcels from Gloucester and Australia which were posted weeks ago. Anyway, if it has been sent from Madrid, I'll go down to the post office and have a huge, hormonal wobbly on Monday until they look for it! I really want it to come through ASAP. Shorty is arriving on Wednesday for a 'boys' weekend i.e. too much golf, too much drink, etc! and I'd really like to take Lily back to the UK to see her Dad and just leave them to it! They don't need a hormonal, emotional FAT woman spoiling there male bonding! Besides which, I want to see my Dad and Julia and go SHOPPING!!!!!!!!

On the baby front, everything feels good. He is moving and wiggling about a lot, and I LOVE IT!! Mark is convinced that he's already in training to play for Gloucester Rugby Club and is busy planning that his Son and heir will leave hospital in a RFC baby gro and hat (not sure if that's cute or just sad, but whatevr makes him happy lol!!). We're still debating names...I have always loved the names Lucas. Mark likes it too. I'm just worried that it'll be a mouthful with Lily's name. The other name that we both really like is William/Will. I'd really like the baby to have a family middle name (Patrick, Jon, Michael or ANthony) but so far, Mark is adamant that he doesn't want to. We'll see. Even if I have to tackle the issue while in labour, when he is sh1tting himself and will agree to anything, I'm sure I'll win him over lol!!

We're meeting Mark's ex parents-in-law's for a Chinese tonight (yes, very weird, I know!!) so that should be nice. SO much for the diet, eh?! I took one of the iron sachets that the Dr prescribed on Monday, and had the squits for 3 days after (tmi, sorry!) so I'm reluctant to take anymore. Surely permanent diaorhea is more damaging than low iron levels? Dunno. Got a MW appointment on Tuesday so I'll ask her then. The scan has been moved to Wednesday now, which is probably better for me (less of a rush) although it'll mean 2 trips to Alicante for Mark, as his friend is arriving Wed night. Oh well, pregnany is tough isn't it lol!!
