Had a nice evening nosing around the BW pregnancy diaries...I could spend hours and hours reading about other people's experiences! In reality, I'm meant to be watching a Wesley Snipes (yummy!) movie with Mark, but he has become accustomed to me showing far much more attention to my laptop than to him, or the TV!
Poor Lily is still poorly. We are backwards and forwards to the emergency department every 12hrs so she can have a go on the nebuliser. I swear there's an epidemic of kids with asthma. As we were leaving there were loads of other parents arriving with their little ones, and I can only assume it was for the same reason. She's got two more session tomorrow and I'm not going to send her back to school only for Friday. I'd rather she have the rest of the weekend to recuperate properly, while I pump loads of vitamin c into her! She ate a HUGE mango today too, after tucking into Mark's beef stew and dumplings! Yum!
Some confusion today with the insurance company regardng a 4D scan. According to them, 4D scans haven't really caught on here in Spain yet, and the best they can offer me is a 3D scan (yes please!). We talked to the hospital who advised that they only have the machinery for the normal 2D scan. So, back to the insurance co who rang the hospital directly. They assured me that the scan is the one I need, as recommended my the gynocologst, and it is a high definition scan (?). Anyway, I'm booked into the hospital in Alicante for next Tuesday. Can't wait! I'm not sure what type of scan I'm going to end up with, but I'm not missing the opportunity to see the baby!
Took a bump picture today. Posted it on the other site that I visit and was assured by all the other ladies that I'm not huge and bulbous (not more that I should be, anyway!). Tell that to my Dr who keeps telling me off for putting on too much weight. And as for this diet....yuck!
