Scan.

We had a great day today! We headed up to Alicante early, as we weren't sure where the hospital was. Just as well as we did get a little bit lost and, when we found it, there is ABSOLOUTELY NO PARKING!! What's the point of that?? What the hell is going to happen when I'm in labour? It took us about 30 mins to get there (not counting the getting lost!) but about 45mins to get home, due to traffic. Actually, that is one of my biggest concerns about labour, not getting to the hospital in time! It's not as if I had a quick labour last time (20hrs) so I can't imagine it'll be a problem! Anyway, it turned out that we were having a 2D scan, albeit a high definition one. The sonographer was dour and personality-less but he did all the checks and confirmed that everything was looking good, then he turned the screen so that we could see it, and gave us a good look. It was AMAZING!! We could see all the individual little fingers and he was clenching his fist and wiggling his arms about! We counted all his tiny toes. We got the sonographer to confirm that he was a boy and then he showed us his willy (!) and said that there was no doubt about it, ha ha!! He did warn me that he's going to be a large baby (I think my eyes started watering at that point - it's going to sting lol!!) which everyone thinks is wonderful...but it's me that got to give birth to him lol!! Anyway, we both enjoyed seeing him again. We got some pictures, but they're not that brilliant.

We got home to discover that our water bed had sprung a leak...NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO! Can't manage without my waterbed, it's so comfy. Managed to find the receipt, which is a major achievement for me. However, forgot to send of the guarantee bit, so I'm going to have to tell a porky and say that I did send it and it must have got lost in the post!

Still no sign of Lily's passport which is a shame. Mark is at the airport collecting his best mate, and I was hoping to be able to miss the whole 'boys weekend' thing! Never mind. It's Mark's birthday on Friday so I need to get him a pressie tomorrow, especially as nookie is now out of the question, ha ha! No idea what to get...I am crap at buying presents! Oh well...I'll find something!
