My poor baby has been poorly! He's had a horrible cough and runny nose and he's been attached to my boobs most nights. I almost wish that he'd take a dummy again but he refused it about 3 months ago and has never had it again since! A good thing really I suppose!
He had his 9 month check up on Wednesday and the nurse said he weighed only 8.58kgs - THAT'S A 1.5KG LOSS!! I went into panic mode as that's almost 20% of his bodyweight! The nurse didn't really have any suggestions except to speak to the pediatrician about it. So, back to the Dr's yesterday. She's given him 2 different meds for his chest but didn't bother to weigh him. I took him to the farmacia who weighed him in at 10.140kgs! I think the dosey new nurse didn't have a clue what she was doing and the scales weren't level. It still means he's lost a little bit of weight but I suppose that's inevitable seeing as he's been poorly 3 times over the past month.
I'm collecting Mark from the airport tonight and can't wait! Went to WW today - lost a kilo so that's 5.8kgs since i joined (and 19kgs in total since my heaviest!). Still got a long way to go. Mum came to me for lunch then took Paddy back to her house for a few hrs so I could get some housework done - what joy!
Paddy's new trick for the day is standing up in the travel cot.
Getting some vitamin D on the way to the Dr's! I LOVE this country - sunshine in January!
