Lazy Sunday.

I've just booked our flights to go back to the UK for Easter! I've been humming and haa-ing for the last week over dates, times, prices, if I really want to go, etc so I'm glad it's finally booked. We'll be back in the UK for Paddy's 1st birthday, which will be lovely for all the family there. I'm hoping that my Mum will come over for a week or so too, to coincide with his birthday, so that we can all be together!

Had a lovely day today. The weather here is just beautiful! We had a nice walk up to the rotiserie chicken shop today which helped us all work up an appetite for dinner: roast chicken, sweetcorn, peas, mash and LOTS of gravy. Paddy ate VERY well (as usual!). We've been so lucky with him and his eating. I've not discovered anything he doesn't like yet! On the odd occasion he's turned his nose up at something it's been because it had no lumps in it! I've also found that he eats much better if I'm spooning his dinner in but he's got some food on his tray to feed himself with. Very independent!

I had a great time last night! I'm so glad Mum made me go. There were 7 of us and we went to an Indian Buffet which was great! I had 2 smallish plateful (oink!) but most of all enjoyed having a laugh and catching up! Everyone got a bit emotional at one point as Jacqui is leaving to return to the UK on Tuesday, and she doen't want to go! God, that'll be me soon. Mark will have to drag me back kicking and screaming! I got home at about 11pm as promised. 4 of the other girl were going on for a few drinks and it would have been nice to join them but I didn't want to push my luck with Mum and Paddy wasn't too well anyway. Next time I think I'll stay at Mum's so the kids can go to bed there and I can come back whenever.

Yoga tomorrow - yay! I love Mondays! Then I'm going to whizz home, collect Lily from school, collect Mum and Paddy then we're all going to the beach for a picnic! I've been worrying about whether Mark's flight would be cancelled again this Firday - this time due to the concern over the runway at Britol airport - but he's just phoned to say that the airport are resurfacing the runway over the next few day so his Friday flight should be OK...keeping everything crossed nonetheless!
