Los Reyes.

Well, it looks like I'm going out tonight. I think I've been sort of bullied into it by my Mum! She came over this morning to put the colour on my hair. It doesn't actually look any different from my normal colour except that it's helped to hide some grey hairs and made it more shiny! I can't believe I've got grey hairs at 28! I seem to have become older (and look older) over night, without even realising that it is happening. Must start saving for a zimmer....

Poor Paddy has woken up with a horrible cough today. I'm beginning to think we're cursed! One or other, or all of us has been ill for so long now. I don't really like to leave him when he's poorly but I know my Mum will call me if there are any problems and I can come straight home as I won't be drinking. Besides which, I don't get the chance to go out very often. I've already text Lisa to say that I'm coming so, barring any emergencies, I'll be there - I hate letting people down at the last minute. I'm not sure that Mark is that keen on my 'girly' night out, ha ha! Oh well, he goes out when he's in the UK (not very often though!) and it's not as if I'll be up to anything! I've managed to get into some black trousers that haven't fit for ages (yay!) so I'll be wearing those, with whatever else I can find that fits and has been laundered - glamour queen, or what? NOT!

The lady in the apartment below me came up with a present each for the kids! The 6th Jan in Spain is their Christmas/presents day. I thought it was so sweet of her! We gave her some chocs for out xmas day. I couldn't invite her in though because her daughter is pregnant and I didn't want to risk passing on chicken pox by accident. And also the apartment is a pig sty at the moment!! Practically a mortal by Spanish houewife standards! I should probably be flogged...a divorced, non-Catholic, living in Sin, baby out of wedlock, slovenly housekeeper, shock horror! I will start the repentance process by forcing myelf to go out and feast on Chinese tonight. :Sigh:
