A sad day.

The day has arrived when Lily would prefer to spend the day with her friends instead of her old ma (including the offer of lunch out)!  I booked the day off work today as she finished school a day earlier than Patrick.  She is always going on about how we never have any time on our own.  Now that the day has arrived and her friends are heading into town, I was stood up!  I honestly don't mind, although it struck me that it'll probably be another 10 to 15 years before she seeks out my company for a girly day again.  Sniff.
